Sluggish mouse with Logitech g9?

I have recently gotten a logitech g9, along with a new laptop, and have been experiencing sluggish movement with the mouse in games like Medal of Honor Allied ault, and Quake 4. The mouse works fine in Counter Strike:Source and battlefield 2 though. Could it be a Vista thing with the game? Is there anything I can do?
