Will it be easy for me to learn how to snowboard?

I'm going snowboarding soon but have never been before. Obviously there will be a learning period. However, I can ride a ripstik pretty well, I can longboard with great control and I've ridden a Freeboard before (which I am told feels just like a snowboarding). My question is: Will I be able to learn how to snowboard with at least a little ease? Is it something I'll pick up naturally? And how long will it rake to learn?
