I think the deaths 'hurt' the misconceptions that the public/ average fan had about professional wrestlers. They are human beings and are subject to human frailties . Did he hurt pro wrestling? Somewhat, but WWE could have taken the 'high road' and merely commented on the tragedy rather than attempt to rewrite wrestling history. I, for one. was disgusted by WWE actions and the over-the-hill wrestling 'trash' that got another '15 minutes' talking about the tragedy.
